Who Are We?

Auttash Organization for Peace and Development (APD) is a Sudanese non-profit voluntary organization, officially registered with the Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC) in accordance with the Voluntary and Humanitarian Work Regulation Act of 2006 and the National Organizations Regulations of the same year.

APD was established as part of a group of active national organizations working in the fields of voluntary and humanitarian work.

 

Vision

To be a leading organization contributing to the building of a peaceful Sudanese society oriented towards sustainable development.

Mission

To actively participate in achieving social peace and development through partnerships with local communities within the framework of voluntary initiatives.

Objectives

  • Promoting a culture of peace, dialogue, and unity, and strengthening the foundations of peaceful coexistence.
  • Developing rural communities socially, culturally, and economically.
  • Assisting communities in dialogue and the exchange of experiences.
  • Empowering and supporting women in cultural, economic, and social roles, and enhancing their leadership and development capacities.
  • Building the capacities of youth and developing their skills.
  • Reviving Sudanese environmental and cultural heritage and emphasizing its role in community development.
  • Promoting environmental awareness.

Means

  • Providing voluntary, health, educational, developmental, and environmental services to beneficiaries.
  • Organizing training workshops, seminars, conferences, exhibitions, student associations, and cultural clubs.
  • Building partnerships with civil society organizations and government institutions to support peace and development.
  • Conducting research and studies.
  • Organizing training courses and capacity-building workshops in the field of peace and development.
